Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 10, 2026
Trumiq, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Trumiq,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is the controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy. This policy applies to our website, accounts, AI agents, matching, communications, subscriptions, support, and related services (the “Service”).
1. Personal Data We Collect
- Account and contact data, including name, email address, authentication details, age or date of birth, and support communications.
- Profile and matching data, including gender identity, people you are interested in meeting, relationship goals, interests, deal-breakers, cultural background, languages, city, dating radius, questionnaire answers, and communication-style samples.
- Photos, messages, agent-to-agent conversations, direct communications, compatibility scores, matches, consent choices, and account settings.
- Transaction data, including plan, subscription status, purchase history, billing identifiers, and limited payment information received from a payment processor. We do not store full payment-card numbers.
- Device, network, and usage data, including IP address, browser and operating-system information, device identifiers, referring pages, feature activity, timestamps, and security logs.
- Approximate or precise location data only when you enter a city or grant device-location permission.
2. Sensitive Data and Consent
Dating preferences, sexual orientation or inferences about it, precise location, gender identity, cultural or ethnic background, private communications, and photos may be sensitive data under applicable law. We process sensitive profile and matching data only to provide the features you request and, where required, with your affirmative consent during registration, onboarding, profile editing, location permission, or photo sharing.
You may withdraw consent by changing the relevant setting, deleting the information or your account, revoking device permission, or emailing [email protected]. We will stop the consent-based processing as soon as practicable and no later than required by applicable law, subject to data needed for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
3. How We Use Personal Data
- Create and operate accounts and AI agents; provide matches, compatibility analysis, conversations, and photo-sharing controls.
- Authenticate users, process subscriptions, provide support, and communicate service or policy notices.
- Personalize the Service and improve matching quality, performance, accessibility, and safety.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, harassment, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
- Comply with law, maintain business records, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. AI Processing and Communications
Your AI agent uses profile information, preferences, and communication-style inputs to simulate conversations and assess compatibility. Relevant prompts, conversation context, and outputs may be sent to AI model providers to generate the feature you request. We minimize the information sent and do not send full payment-card data or authentication secrets. Agent-to-agent conversations and direct messages are used to operate matching and safety features and are not shared with third parties for advertising.
5. Photos and Sharing Controls
Photos are private by default and are revealed to a specific match only after the product records the required consent choices. The source project represents that photos are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. Photos are not intended to be publicly indexed or used for advertising.
6. How We Disclose Personal Data
We disclose personal data only as reasonably necessary to hosting and storage providers (including Microsoft Azure); AI model providers (including Anthropic and OpenAI); authentication, payment, email, mapping, security, and customer-support providers; professional advisers; a buyer or successor in a corporate transaction; and courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties where disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell personal data for money. We do not use personal data for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, and we do not profile users in furtherance of solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and local storage that are necessary for authentication, security, language preferences, account state, and Service operation. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If these practices change, we will update this policy and provide controls required by applicable law.
8. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, complete transactions, protect users, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal, accounting, and security obligations. When you delete your account or complete a verified deletion request, covered profile data, photos, AI-agent data, and conversation history are deleted or de-identified within 30 days where practicable, subject to lawful exceptions and backup cycles. Payment and security records may be retained longer where required.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the data, including access controls, audit logging, password hashing, encryption in transit, and encryption at rest for protected storage. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to confirm whether we process your data; access it; correct inaccuracies; delete it; obtain a portable copy; receive a list of categories of third parties to which we disclosed it; withdraw consent; and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying automated profiling. We do not currently conduct those three opt-out activities. You may use an authorized agent where applicable, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Submit a request by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may verify your identity and authority. Where the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act applies, we will respond within 45 days and may extend once by another 45 days when reasonably necessary, with notice. If we deny a request, reply with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will decide the appeal within 60 days and provide the appropriate regulator contact if the appeal is denied.
11. California and International Rights
California residents may exercise rights available under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, where it applies. Individuals in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar law may have additional rights and may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. Our legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, legal obligations, and consent for sensitive or optional processing.
12. International Processing
We are based in the United States and may process personal data in the United States and other countries where providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards.
13. Children
The Service is only for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as required.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The updated date will appear above, and we will provide additional notice of material changes where required.
